Notre Dame Is Such a Fraud

I saw where Bohls voted them in the Top 25 this week. For what? Beating a 4-A high school team and then getting gifts, multiple gifts, on a platter from a piss poor Michigan team. They got run into the ground today by RInger and Mich State, and back down to earth Notre Dame comes. A top 50 team right now? Not even. What a joke.

Notre Who? Do you mean that has been team of no importance any longer and who will fade away to stories in a few years? They are hardly worth words any longer. It will be nice when their tv contract goes away.

They weren't on NBC today, so I assumed they had a bye. Did they lose to bye?

I did not watch it either so they must have played at Mich. St. Only their home games are on the NotreDame Broadcasting Channel.

hey....at least we are 1 game closer to catching Notre Dame. we are only 2 back now....we should catch them by the OU game.

You know the problem with ND? The media so wants them to matter again.... but they just aren't very good and their coaching absolutely sucks. The irish will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games this season.... assuming the Horns win 8, 9 or more games, UT will move into the # 2 position sometime this season for all time wins behind # 1 Meatchicken

To quote Kornheiser and the "Sports Reporters," don't you know that college football is better when Notre Dame is good and ranked? I hear this statement from time to time. I still have no clue what it's supposed to mean.

My favorite was on one of the college football shows this week. They had a list of the Top 4 games for the weekend and included Notre Dame/MSU over games like TN/Florida and Georgia/Arizona St.

Yesterday will shut them up -- at least for a week.

With their schedule this year, they will have a shot at the rest of the games except for USC. They probably have the easiest schedule in the country this year.

Very little development by Clausen so far and the OL looks pretty mediocre. That said, D'Antoni needs to get a little more out of his offense. Only 17 last week versus FAU and really didn't get the break-away score verus ND until late.

ND's defense isn't that good.

As I said in another post ESPN did 5 minutes on Gameday praising the domers, one guy said the win against Mich proved the program was back, the other guy said the win proved Weiss knows what he is doing then both guys picked the domers over MSU, I heard that and laughed to myself, I knew the irish could not beat MSU.

All those who were hailing the return of ND football last week failed to take into account how truly horrible Michigan is this year. The Big Ten in general is pretty bad. Penn State may actually be the best team in the conference right now.

I dread the day Notre Dame actually becomes decent again, because the media will slobber all over them once again. How long will it be until they preemptively award the Heisman to (insert ND QB du jour here).

Does the name Ron Pawlus ring a bell?

Notre Dame is the still the greatest team ever. Yesterday was a fluke.
Michigan State Cheated. Notre Dame will still run the table. Charlie, god of football, has a master plan. Jimmy Clausen isnt a girl either.

notre dame sucks, i cheer against them every saturday and it's become a tradition. **** them. where is the houston notre dame poster on here to defend his beloved program and tell us how blessed we are they exist in college football.

i actually hope they win 9 games and get an at large BCS bid. 9 games doesn't do it for anyone else but ND would get in for sure. i hope they draw...the texas longhorns and we fuckstomp the **** out of them.

Texas kicking Notre Dame's *** in the BCS would make me happy. To do that, we wouldn't be playing in the title game though. Then again maybe we would. If Notre Dame runs the table (they won't) sadly they will go in ahead of an undefeated team.

I don't feel like looking up how it could happen but I bet Cotton Bowl officials would love to have a Texas-Notre Dame Cotton Bowl in the last year at the Cotton Bowl.

It is all part of his secret plan. oh yes he has a secret plan. He wants the other team to think he is injured and not going to coach the game. Then, he will show up and coach forcing the other team's defensive coordinator to **** his pants and pass out. Apparently Michigan State's backup defensive coordinator was just as good, if not better.
