I'm trying to figure out what type of Interface Connector Types Notebook Computer Floppy Drives use. I don't think they use the same interface as regular floppy drives but can't find that information anywhere. Can anyone help?

I am a bit confused by your question. Are you replacing the floppy drive in the notebook. or adding an external floppy drive for a particular reason? also if replacing the floppy drive, who is the manufacturer of the laptop and what is the model.? Do you happen to know when the laptop was made?
depending upon the Manufacturer, model and year made the floppy drives were integrated with the system board.
if this is an external connection to run a floppy application. would be better to find a desktop with a CDRW drive and copy to the CD and run the CD on the CDRom drive. If you are trying to create a boot floppy and your floppy drive is damaged, then I would use a computer with the same Operating system and create a boot disk and use an external ffloppy drive with a USB connection.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry about the confusion. In regards to my first post, I am just doing some research to try and understand more about Internal Floppy Drives in Notebook computers. What types of Interface Connectors do they use? Are their configurations specific to the manufacturer? How can I classify them in regards to the types of Interfaces available? Thanks for the help!
