I played little league basketball with Coach Black's son Jason in the 70's. He always took a back seat to our fathers/coaches, but i'll never forget the way that as a spectator he'd tear into the little league referees when they missed or botched a call. To us 8 and 10 year olds he had a booming voice in those little jr. high gymnasiums and I imagine those refs were thinking "I don't get paid enough for this." RIP Coach Black.
