North Austin Barber

Does anyone have any good advice on a barber in North Austin? I prefer someone that uses a straight-blade razor or I will just drive 100+ miles to my old one. Thanks.
 
Across the street from Northcross Mall, on Burnet (east of NCM), behind the furniture store, is a little barber shop that has been there forever.

I can;t think of the name of the shopping center of shop, but they're the old-time barber, and do a good job.
 
Depends on your defeinition of North Austin, but the Wooten, Gaitans, and I believe Crestview Barbershop.

and TX ST are you thinking of Pete's Flat Top Shop?
 
Bob's Barbershop on north lamar is where I went for years. I go up there when I have time but usually end up going to wooten now.

It's just north of the HEB in the shopping center on the west side of lamar behind the golden chick. It faces west and is across the parking lot from a rental place.
 
No , Pete's is further down the road.

I like them, but they don't usually to the straight razor finish.
