I was watching Vanderbilt vs North Carolina, doing a bit of pre-worrying scouting.

Robin Ventura has improved. Didn't we all used to hate him?

Can't remember the total team in the booth in years past, but it has no umph that it used to have. There is nothing from the voices in the booth anymore that reminds me of CWS. Does not have the feel of it.

The new digs, the presentation by ESPN, and, oh yeah, the Horns losing

just doesn't seem like CWS.

I wanna see the white uniforms, shots of James Street in the stands, and Horns up by a commanding lead early and late.

But Ventura is actually acceptable compared to Nomar.

none of these color guys can hold a candle even close to Harold.

Who was the guy who got canned for sexual harrassment? He was was REALLY good behind the mike. Had played ball, had no faves, knew what he was talking about, and had a sense of humor. Is that the Harold that was mentioned? I remember thinking he was one of the best mike guys I had ever heard for any sport.

Nomar should just be referred to as Nomore
