Nobis #60

I'm sure this has been addressed, and I just missed it, but now that Nobis's number is "retired", are they still gonna do the #60 thing for our star linebackers?

They haven't had the number retirement ceremony yet, but at that point, if not already, I assume that means...the number is retired.

I always thought the reason it wasnt retired was because it was such an honor to wear #60.

That number only appears every few years, so that makes it more special than being retired.

im pretty sure the guy who used to do the afternoon show on 1300 with the 2 white guys wore it once.

completely blanking on his name. he did some work for fox sw too.

Nobis had said in the past he didn't want it retired, and that he wanted to see more stud LB's out there wearing #60. So, of course, we retired it.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Nobis recently. I could never call that man just Nobis. It is Mr. Nobis. When I got back to the office, I called my dad to let him know who I just met.

The way I heard it was that Nobis said he rather see #60 on the field kicking *** on Saturdays than hanging on a wall.
