No Threads on the ACL Lineup???

...well, having The Eagles and Phish as headliners doesn't exactly help to drum up interest.

Some of the mid-level acts sound intriguing (Vampire Weekend, Deadmau5, LCD Soundsystem), but...no Jay-Z, no Phoenix.

Bonnaroo and Lolla blow this lineup out of the water.

It's a very watered down Coachela lineup. Very meh and most of these acts have been in town lately at more intimate venues. If I happen upon some free tix again I will go.

Very obvious they have been trying to put up various bands that appeal to broad spectrum. Not excited about the Eagles show at all. Spoon...are you serious.

Phoenix has played Austin three times in the past 7 months (ACL 2009, La Zona Rosa in Dec and Stubbs 3 weeks ago), people should not be surprised they're not playing this year. I would have liked to have seen Wilco, Lyle Lovett, Neil Young and Harlem.

Bands I'm excited about seeing:
Flaming Lips - never ever disappoint
Spoon - always fun even if you can always see them around town.
LCD Soundsystem - never seen him. love his records. Should be a great dance party.
Band of Horses - they rock
Sonic Youth - I mean come on.
Gogol - always fun.
The National - I really like the new record
The Black Keys - rock
Beach House - great effing band
The Sword - face = melted
The xx - after seeing them play a sub-par show at SXSW, I want to see them with good sound.
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - great stuff.
Girls - love this guy, great summertime music.
Local Natives - my favorite band going right now.
Gaslight Anthem - heard they put on a great show.
Devendra Banhart - never seen him before.
Robert Randolph - good festival music.
Midlake - absolutely love this band.
Foals - love their new record
Dawes - diddo
T Bird - hopefully they'll play the tent, always fun.
