Everytime DTV sends me a message or does a facebook posting, i reply "Longhorn Network Please" I may be swtiching if ATT or Suddenlink gets it first. Never cared for Dish, I will just say no to them.
I am one of the lucky ones. Both the football and basketball Texas Legends are awesome. They make me laugh and cry. The best parts for me are stories about things that happened between the player and Mack and Rick Barnes respectively. Mack gets on Vince and hollers at him in practice early in his freshman year. Vince stops, turns to Mack and says: "I've never been talked to like that by a white man". Mack says: "Well I'm going to be white all my life, so you better get use to it". Vince laughs and that's the end of it.
Barnes tells the story of being down to OU at home late by double digits, Buckman, I believe it was, lets OU get two offensive rebounds in quick sussession. Barnes takes him out of the game, reads him the riot act for a while, and tells him we can't win with him in the game. He's done for the night. T.J Ford goes up to Barnes and asks him if he wants to win the game. Rick says no, I ilike what they are doing to us! T. J. says; "well you better put Buckman back in then". Barnes tells him he just heard what he told Buckman and there is no way is is going back in the game. T. J. says: well you don't want to win then". Finally Barnes goes down the bench and tells Buckman he's giving him one more chance. Buckman goes in and promptly hits three treys in a row and we go on to pull out the win. After the game, T. J. walks up behind Barnes, slaps him on the butt, and says: Good coaching Job!.
If all of the Time Warner customers in California, Texas and New York cannot force Time Warner to air the NFL Network; every Texas Alum and friends calling them for the LHN isn't going to phase TW.
The LHN will be included in each provider's renewal of the ESPN and ABC networks. (At least that is what ESPN and ABC is counting on.)
I have it but never watch it. Same ole crap over and over and over. Mack has 2 interviews. One after a win and one after a loss. I've seen both. Dont need to see 'em again.
