We should open a pool on whether or not he will bring up how 'fortunate' Texas is to be in Omaha, and the questionable calls in Austin during SR against Zona St. I just bet he won't be able to resist. Guess I'll keep my finger on the mute button.

Even the video highlights over at NCAA.com of the last TX/ASU game, had to show the interference and the balk call, TWICE. I guess with a few victories in the CWS, they'll forget about it and quit implying we were aided by bad calls. But, at least, being able to view the video, I can see justification for both calls. The batter definitely stepped out of the box in front of our catcher (the ball 4 part is what is confusing), and the balk was definitely a balk - he did not pause.

Not only will you hear a lot about the calls in the Super Regionals tonight but I'm willing to bet he will use an inning or two on the story of him being recruited by Augie but instead going to GT. Nomar was always one of my favorite players but he is terrible in the booth. Hopefully he will get better with experience but that could be a few years away.
