No chat about Aaron Franklin

visiting Austin this weekend, just prior to making his decision. Anyone have insightor rumors...

I don't have any insight but I had read that he will make decision this summer but he still has a little time left. He has an impressive list of offers and one is Stanford. Whenever an athlete gets an offer from Stanford it indicates to me that he is a good high school student with good grades. Of course just because an athlete doesn't get an offer from Stanford doesn't mean they are not good students. It is that getting one is a strong indication of being a good student.

I hope we get this one. I could use some good news.

I'm no recruiting insider, but would a commitment by Franklin affect our status with Jordan Hicks?

At one point before Nelson committed to anm, Mack told Franklin they'd take the first 2 to commit. Sounds like we want both

Not only would we take both, it is now almost mandatory that we take two LB's, we need them badly. I guess the wish list now is down to Franklin, Jeffcoat, White, and Hicks. Either White at this point.
