And it's Cibolo Steele S Erik Huhn! Great size at 6-2, 190lbs. Decent offer list with schools such as OU, Georgia, Nebraska, TAMU and about 9 others. Good size and speed combo from what I've read... Heard he tore it up at today's Longhorn Camp.

When I get more, I will post it...

congrats and welcome to the 40! I see that he's a 3 star on rivals. I actually think its a good sign in that coaches are looking beyond the star rankings and looking for those hidden gems as opposed to the lazy recruiting of past years.

He seems to have great athleticism and an impressive offer list.

Rivals & 247Sports list Huhn as a 3*... Scout lists him as a 4* as of this date! Let's see where he finishes after his senior football season... gotta like his size and 4.53-40 time!

BON Write-up

A big

to this young man. With a year to grow and decent speed, I could see him moving to a linebacker, speed rusher hybrid. Lots of upside to this kid.

He certainly brings some size to the position. Hopefully, he's a bigger-sized version of another San Antonio product: John Hagy - and with all the attitude too!

If he gets too big or a little too slow for safety it will be interesting to see what he projects as at LB. I know they have been trying to move back to the 4 corners kind of DB unit and I don't think he would ever play at CB. So he must have really projected well at safety.

I heard he has 4.5 speed and from the film it's clear he likes to hit. Seems like the prototype strong safety. He may not play in every lineup, but a safety who has speed and awareness in coverage and the ability to lay a lick in the running game will be needed against most opponents. Looks like a guy who can cover a tight end and provide terrific support in the running game.
