What's up with the new apartment complex hugging the left side of the fairway? I get the willies every time I tee off on this hole even though I'm a habitual slicer. Idiots (apartment owners) should put up a net along the parking lot, imo.

I used to work there years ago when I was in college, so I know if you hit it left and you screwed the hole, especially now that the apartment is there. It used to be just trees and brush, and I would always see people out there looking for their ball. I'm sure someone's car gets hit on a daily basis out there. You're right about a net, but it will probably take a few dozen more car dings and broken windows before someone puts one up.

I live there. When we signed up, they told us that there would be a nearby golf course, but didn't explain how we'd be parking in the rough. They made us sign a waiver on the first day saying they are not responsible for car damage....this is after they cash our deposit checks!

I am a lefty who has a penchant for slicing, and the hole scares the hell out of me now. I gotta figure that people who park there are only doing so because it is a last resort.

what about customers who are too lazy to put up their carts? especially on a busy weekend. shoud the store be held responsible for someone else's selfishness. get a lawyer? give me a break.

It would be up to a judge or jury to determine if the store should be held responsible but why in the hell should I be responsible for somebody else's selfishness?

The left side is the safest place they could be for me. Hell, you could park your car in the middle of the fairway, as long as you're not back on #11.
