Nneka's Techs

According to the ISU fans, Nneka pushed a player to the ground for the first T and said something to the ref after being called for a charging foul that warranted a second T.

Back in the day, players who got T'ed up were chewed out by the coach and watched the rest of the game from the bench. In fact, Coach Fennelly did that last year with one of his players while playing Texas. I guess Coach G has different standards.
 
Great... now we have an Andrea Riley like player on our team?

That's just one example of many regarding Goestenkors. Now the opposing teams fans want Goestenkors to stay on board for as long as possible, especially those from BU, OU and A&M.

Well, she is a freshman, and it was a tie ball that she just tried to jerk away from the ISU player, it was aggressive, but not mean...she popped off at the ref when she got the chargiing call, (ISU Player flopped big time- even radio people said she deserved an Emmy for her performance!) and was thus ejected from game (DQ)...she will learn to keep her mouth shut, I am sure she got an earful later on..

She was out of the game anyway, so Gail not "sitting" her was a moot point..hey, she was trying to win a game, and I did NOT see a "shove" as described by ISU site..it was more of trying to jerk the ball, IMHO...

Kurt Budke never did anything to the all-time Thug Player of the Century in the Big 12, Andrea Riley..AND I felt that Kim Mulkey let Griner off pretty easy after punching Barncastle and breaking her nose....there are more "true thugs" I could mention, Nneka is not even close to that category...

I know Nneka personally from having played against her 3 times in a total of 4 years and watching her play many more times than that. She is the furthest thing from a "thug" she comes from a good home and great parents. Shes just a competitor in the purest sense, and emotions run high at times, but to characterize her as a thug is a huge misrepresentation of her character and surely offensive.

And some of those posts are "rich" isu hasn't had national success in years and are relatively non factors on the post season. So for them speak negatively about our program or anyone else's for that matter is comical at best!
 
No we don't have an Andrea Riley type player on our team.

It's one thing to attack the coach, Seattle, but leave the players alone.
