Not to say that im not excited about the direction of the program, but that excitement is temptered by what I've felt before. Remeber how GG had us beleiving that we were "back" when she had us top 5 in the country?

one has to feel good the way this team is playing although the games against Stanford, A&M & Tenn will help show how much they have improved and how far they have to go. For me, that's a part of the excitement.

One difference utfann is that we have a straight-up tireless workhorse who is doing everything she can to get Texas where it needs to be. The building from the bottom up won't happen overnight as we all know. Coach A won't have the heavy expectations resulting from being an "Elite" coach and the million dollar salary stand in the way. You have to like the talent and chemistry of this year's team. No smoking mirrors when it comes to our Coach. She knows how to recruit Texas and her Top 10 haul for 2014 is promising.

She deserves the 5 years before anyone rushes to judgment and demands a new direction.
