I didn't watch every minute of the All Star game, but I figured the National League had to be due for a win. This is getting ridiculous.
I tune in during the first, and witness the "all star" third baseman unable to throw to first to complete a double play, the world's greatest player Pujols booting an easy grounder, and the pitcher, who resembles a sixteen year old hippie who has been sleeping under an overpass, promptly walks a couple, including plunking Jeter on the arm.
This is supposed to be an All Star team? It looked like the first day of Little League practice.
So they give up two runs unnecessarily and lose 4-3. They never recovered.
It's tough being an NL fan in the All Star game.
