NL futility continues in All-Star game

I didn't watch every minute of the All Star game, but I figured the National League had to be due for a win. This is getting ridiculous.
I tune in during the first, and witness the "all star" third baseman unable to throw to first to complete a double play, the world's greatest player Pujols booting an easy grounder, and the pitcher, who resembles a sixteen year old hippie who has been sleeping under an overpass, promptly walks a couple, including plunking Jeter on the arm.
This is supposed to be an All Star team? It looked like the first day of Little League practice.
So they give up two runs unnecessarily and lose 4-3. They never recovered.
It's tough being an NL fan in the All Star game.

Pujols can't always play to the stanards that you want or expect him to. neither can anyone else. It's an allstar game. It's entertainment. Millions were entertained and some like you accurate were not. Adjust your measuring stick just a tick. It was a decent game. Also slamming pujols makes you look like your baseball knowledge is lacking. Pujols is making a run for the triple crown and is a monster player. His only weakness is running and the guy has added to that this year.
Lincecum is also a very young player. He's only 5'9" with a blazing fastball so you can imagine how many fans he has. Especially after starting the all star game.

And for the record, I do think Pujols is the best player in the game. He felt an enormous amount of pressure, feeling like he had not only the entire city of St. Louis, but his entire league on his shoulders. I wish he played for my Rangers!

FYI...The AAA all star game was on ESPN last night and Mr. Drew Stubbs had a solo HR. He also caught a fly out(to right field) and threw to first base for a double play.

Actually, I've never heard anyone call the AL the Junior Circuit. I just used the phrase because NL fans seem hellbent on continuing the usage of Senior Circuit.
