Well this is interesting... and kind of keeps with the theme that is suddenly emerging of player mistreatment allegations. If this is true though I don't know why she wouldn't transfer, maybe because she wanted to keep the playing time she got at ISU.

That is interesting. I've always wondered about Fennelly. There have been some on the board who've said nice things about him, yet a few others have cast aspersions on his past recruiting practices. At one point, quite a while ago, a member of the forum said Fennely was one of the coaches that did some negative recruiting, and said inappropriate things about our staff back in the early days (I'm assuming mid-90's as that's when he started at ISU). But I think someone implied the same thing about the former (late) coach at OSU also, yet he didn't start until the mid-2000's, around the time of JC's retirement. So who knows what the truth is; it's always difficult to determine whether someone is just stirring the pot, or actually has inside info.

Nikki Moody and Fennelly had issues when she was at ISU. She had been suspended a couple of times when she was playing there. There was an article on Nikki Moody when she graduated from ISU and she talked about how she wasn't going to go back there as an alum, and that Fennelly liked certain players more than others. So maybe she was trying to get at something when she said that.
