and his Dwyer teammates taking on Ted Ginn, Sr.'s Glenville team on ESPN right now.

You may remember from some earlier posts that rumors were brewing that mutual interest was growing between Texas and O'Leary, the consensus #1 TE in the nation. From what I've seen thus far, the guy looks like the real deal.

Had a very good game. Not impressed by his flicking the other team off at the end, although it was probably pretty warranted by how they got shafted on three separate TDs.

yeah, that was some pretty poor officiating at the end. 3 tds in the final minute and none of them were called tds.

Not well at all. In fact I could see it costing him an offer, assuming we were actually planning on handing it out in the first place.

Would Mack really not go after this guy based on this one incident? If he had a history of this or of doing stupid things, then I could understand not going after him. Has anyone ever been around a teenager who hasn't sometimes exploded and done stupid stuff? Even really good kids explode and do stupid stuff sometimes. It would seem that you would look at his total background and not this one thing.

Heck maybe he is just a really competetive kid who hates losing, and hates getting screwed. I mean if he is a Shockey type yea maybe Mack would not offer but to lump him with burgulars, dope fiends, and thugs because he flipped the other team off is a little overboard. Hell we could use some fiery kids!

Pricks flip off the other team in the plain sight of everyone. Sure, people change. But I'd be hard pressed to take a chance on a player who acts like that. A bad tree bears bad fruit. It's a red flag.
