Great win indeed. These are the type of games the Horns have had a habit of losing.

I missed most of the game, but looking at the box score, Lammert had solid stats across the board in a lot of minutes. Here's hoping he and the Horns keep it up.

The thing I liked most about this was that they had to get the win with Holmes and Kabongo on the bench. That actually looked like some growth from the young guys, easily the best they've played down the stretch that I've seen.

CBS gametracker got all mixed up at the end of regulation. It got the order of fouls and FTs all mixed up, and then said that Iowa State hit a 3 in the final seconds but then gave Texas the points.

The strips missed two out of bounce calls, so they took two possessions away from us and we still won.

Guess I will be the first here to say...oh, man, what could have been. The Horns looked like a different team with Kabongo on the floor. He and Felix together was also a nice combination. If Myck can get some repoire with Ridley, that will be a nice drive and dish option. Ibeh, not so much. I think Sheldon may be figuring out a few things as well.

It was also nice to see the Horns pull out the victory with Myck not on the floor at the end of the game and with the same cast of characters that have been so frustrating to watch all season. It has to give them confidence, especially heading into next year when Myck is likely no longer here.

If the game on Saturday was in Austin, I would say we have a shot, after Kansas, I can see us going on a 6-0 run going into the Big 12 Tourrnament, win 3/4 and that puts us on the bubble....Nobody will want to play to play us in the tournament.

I wonder what the Ratings on the local TV station in Austin were vs. what they had been on the Longhorn Network all year?

Of course with Kabongo being back they might be skewed.
