Nice restaurant suggestion by Paramount

I'm looking for a nice restaurant downtown to take my wife to before we see a show at the Paramount (7th and Congress). Can someone suggest a nice place where we can just park and walk to the restaurant and to the Paramount?

jezebel, congress at 9th
driskill grill, 6th at brazos
chez nous, neches between 5th & 6th

there are many more, especially if you wanted to walk a bit further, but those would be my first choices in the immediate vicinty of the paramount

What show are you going to? Maybe somebody can suggest a good place with that theme in mind. Just a thought.

When I saw Chez Nous I nodded my head yes. Fun place and I think you two will enjoy it. But if you are walking make sure there is no rain.

You could hit that up for eats and then hit the Driskill for a drink before the show.

I think the Nutcracker is the only thing showing at the Paramount right now.

Hickory Street is right across congress.

My preferences would be Gumbo's, Roaring Fork, and La Traviata (which is a bit of a walk).

When my wife and I go to the Paramount we usually go to Roaring Fork. Cool thing is you can valet your car there and leave it until the show is over. Very convenient and right next door.
