Nice restaurant recs in N Houston

My dad is coming in next week for a golf tournament. He will be staying up north by the airport kind of, and I live down by West U. Anybody know of a nice restaurant somewhere in the middle? I know downtown is between us but that's still pretty far for him to take a cab. We usually get a steak, some of our favorites are Vic and Anthony's and Strip House... so anything along those lines would be perfect.

Yeah, I think I found the one up north and it's pretty far west, just as far for him as downtown. It looked pretty good though.

DaMarco and Marks are probably my two favorite upscale places. They are both on Westheimer near Montrose so not really in between, but they cannot be beat.

You do have a lot to choose from at the Woodlands Town Center but it is anything but "in the middle." Otherwise, you can go to Gallery Furniture and show him Elvis' car. That's in the middle
