Will dirty politics work in this year's presidential election?
Historically it has, but it's not doing so well this year. In fact the candidate which has gone negative has been consistently punished. (Nevada may be an exception. Maybe.) Ms. Mean did great when she was nice but not so well when she was mean. Romney was also prominently punished.
