Reading the article about him, just makes me think of the opening words of The Eyes:...."The eyes of Texas are upon you...." in the best sense of that phrase.

Tragic as the events were leading up to his extended family's relocation, they are all Texans now, and their wunderkind is someone all of us Texans, including them, can be very proud of.
