Not sure why people (even Texas fans) slam on our class having 9 OOS pick-ups, like it's some taboo or sign of weakness. The top programs do this nearly every year...
Bama has 8 guys not from AL or FL, GA, MS, TN (border states).
Oregon has 9 recruits not from OR or CA, NV, WA (border states).
FSU, USC, UCLA each have 7 OOS.
tOSU has 8 guys from states not even in their northwest quarter of the U.S.
So we have 9...big deal. You gotta do what you gotta do to find top talent nowadays. With social media and access so widespread, it's no longer a mostly in-state recruiting field. OOS schools raid the hell out of our top players, if we want to be elite again the new recruiting ways force us to take the best talent however we can.
Our main focus will always be in Texas, but as long as we aren't exceeding 10 or so OOS guys...I'm 100% cool with that approach. And maybe I'll be able to follow the leaderboard of less sheep-loving dicksticks like Murray and Mack. Sour grapes on Mack? Yes. As for Murray, all Aggy star legacies are dicksticks.
I'm feeling they have 7 OOS guys, which makes them substantial OOS chasers as well.
And their delusion of still leading us in the recruiting ranks while the national public rankings are posted everywhere and say otherwise...has me feeling happy while Aggy bashing.
Funny thing is I'm typically in the camp of not caring what Aggy does these days, as they stay mediocre. But Aggy irrational statements run so wild and prevalent they are known to even make a composed man lose his **** now and then.
