NHL on Versus

So, have we seen the last Stars game of the year in hi-def? On the local station with Ralph & Razor, they are in hi-def, but even the VersusHD (at least on Time Warner) is in low-def. Is this the same for everybody? Any chance that Versus breaks out HD cameras for the Detroit series?

Versus/Golf HD looks like Hi-Def Hockey on TWC-Austin. Is it not?

It's VERY low-def in Dallas. At least at my house. All the other HD channels are high-def but not this one.

The games are definitely broadcast in HD, but apparently on some cable systems Versus is only standard def. DirecTV 604 has been no problem for me. Just another example of how the NHL botched its lockout comeback by walking away from ESPN. Even actual fans have a hard time finding the games, and often they're not HD.

Channel 1646 is Versus high def.
All of the games have been there.

So strange, last night on the same station they carried Ultimate Fighting, and it was in hi-def. But not the Stars the other night. I guess I'll find out tomorrow night whether I've got a problem. Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, Directv sometimes has Versus in hi-def and sometimes they put golf on channel 604.

Golf sucks. I hate golf.
