NFL Network Equipped Eateries/Bars

Okay, with Time Warner and the NFL teaming up to black out most of us here in Austin, what are the best places to watch NFL network games for those of us without satellites?

Last time I went to Palazio on Ben White and there really weren't that many TV's, plus you have to constantly deal with the meth-smelling strippers asking you if you want a lap dance.

Pluckers, while nice, practically requires camping out to get into when the cowboys are playing on the NFL network. What are the other options?

I dont think the demand is going to be as big as it was last time. You might try lil woodrows off slaughter, Twin Peaks off Stasney, of course there are all the sports bars down town, but those will probably pretty crowded.

Try Bagpipes up off Burnet and 183 in the same shopping center as Plucker's. Tons of tv's and they have NFL network. Pretty good food too.

3rd base, but it will also be completely packed. I wish Jerry Jones would find another avenue to make more money. This one is annoying.

If you're in NW Austin, try Anderson Mill Tavern on Anderson Mill Rd. between 183 and 620. Crappy TV's, but you get to see the game. Place didn't get crowded for the GB game until well into the 1st qtr. I spent $3 there, and $2 was for tips.

Legend's next to the Holiday Inn NW (183/Mopac) is good too - planning to head there tonight for the Horns/MSU and Dallas/Carolina matchups

I ended up going into pluckers an hour before kickoff and there were still seats left at the bar. I loitered there for 4 hours and drank about a gallon of beer. Good thing I live within walking distance.
