picked it up Monday afternoon, and going to thaw out the 12 lb'er in the freezer for the game this weekend.

i'm gonna be all over that virtual weber site this week, trying to figure out how the heck to work it for my maiden voyage.
 
keep in mind that the WSM will run hot until you get a nice layer of grease on the inside of it. Just be aware and watch the temps and adjust the vents.

After a 2-3 cooks, she'll lock in at 225 and stay there for a good long time.
 
Count me in as a member of this esteemed club as well. I received a WSM as a wedding gift (which is awesome) but I have not had the time to use it yet b/c of my wedding and honeymoon. I'm going to fire it up on Saturday morning and I can't wait. I finally get to say goodbye to my crappy Brinkmann (although I did a 2nd brisket on it that turned out pretty damn good).
