New York City for 4th of July

I'll be in New York from July 3-6, and I'm looking for help from anyone thats been there.

Where's the good pizza joints? Italian restaurants? Other good restaurant recommendations?

How hard is it to get Yankee tickets? They are playing the Red Sox that weekend, so I know it will be tough.

What other sites/places would you guys recommend to go?

FYI, the 4th is a great time to go to NYC as it appears pretty much everyone LEAVES the city. The txzen's visited the happyfunball's a few years ago and pretty much walked into The Spotted Pig and were seated.
