New Vegas thread

My wife and I are going this week (12-15) and its our first time.

The hotel rates are crazy right now. Has anyone every gone and switched hotels before? We are thinking about doing a cheaper hotel thursday (Flamingo, Treasure island etc.) and the Ballagio or Wynn Fri and sat.

Show suggestions? Considering Zumanity, love, or Le Reve.

Most wife friendly strip club? Thinking Scores or Spearmint Rhino

Ok now clubs...would we be safe with Tryst one night, Tao one night, and maybe Pure? Should we buy front of the line tickets? Or just buy a bottle for 300-500.

I think that covers it, any suggestions or hook-ups appreciated.
(Obviously Ive done my homework, but I couldnt go without consulting Hornfans).

Edit: Ok we have changed our show choices, now it's between "O", Le Reve, and Love.

sounds like you're ready to have fun!

i went with the girl last year, we had one night in a suite at the flamingo and then switched to THEhotel. it wasn't a big deal, and honestly i think it made us appreciate the nicer room more!

as for shows, i've heard really good things about Love.

i can't help you with the clubs (strip or otherwise) as that's not really my scene.

I have nothing to help you with. However, we are also going to Vegas for the first time at the end of the month for a whole 36 hours. We're staying at Caesar's and will be dining at Picasso with a some friends. I anticipate this will be the most expensive meal of my life. Other than that, we're just gonna wander the strip and do some gambling whenever the mood strikes us.

I would stay in THEhotel if I had one choice. Rooms are great, the spa is phenomenal.

Nuclear-- for one hotel, i would stay at either THEhotel or the Wynn (or is it just "Wynn"?). both are nice. if i was at the wynn i would write off a round of golf, a trip to the spa, and any of the other stuff that you can think of there. it's really pretty swank.

i can recommend THEhotel and love. as for replies to the first post, everything you are saying sounds good. if it's just you and the wife, the bottle service might be too much. a fifty will get both of you in quick i would think. all the strip clubs are equally wife friendly i would say.

Just got back from Vegas...

"O" is phenominal, as is Mystere.

Bottle service for a couple is overkill unless you really like champagne, or want to share your vodka. We went to Light in the Bellagio--was good, but not great.
