New tub: Cast Iron v. Americast

I'm remodeling our guest bath and removed a cast iron tub this weekend. I'm about to buy a new tub. My plumber suggested a Americast tub, and it's about the same price as cast iron. I'm not sure if he just recommended it so he'd have an easier time installing it because it's so much lighter. It is coated in porcelein and appears solid, but I have heard that they have a little give, unlike cast iron.

Anyone out there have one of these tubs? Like it, hate it? I appreciate any advice.

A couple of years ago I had to replace a tub and studied Americast vs cast iron. I finally decided to go with cast iron after reading about both and discussing it with my Plumbing Co. (Wilson Plumbing in Austin). I don't think Americast is bad, but the cast iron works beautifully. They had a chore hauling it upstairs, but three guys managed it fairly quickly.
