new to the scene/How do I reply to a post

Okay I know I am going to hear about this so how do you reply to someone using "in reply to"?
I tried using "in reply to" earlier and it only showed my post. The “in reply to” post disappeared.
Can someone guide me through this ??

assuming you mean the quote tags...

just put (quote)insert your text here(/quote)... but, make the ( ) into [ ]'s. if i type it in [ ]'s then it won't show up.

you can also click the 'quoted' button right above the text window and just type in that box that pops up and hit enter, but it won't let you paste large sections of text.

Thanks Hollis. I do other things. I registered to find tickets to the games and talk Football. Now I find some things interesting. It's good material. I like the ctrl-alt-del post of his AC unit. Funny Stuff.
