Shiner has their 100 year Centennial Beer out now, it's at HEB on Parmer and IH-35. Anyone try it yet?
I bought some yesterday and had one, pretty good. The bottle says it is made in the "sharp (?)" tradition of beer-making-what the heck is that? Seems to be a dark ale, I liked it.
They also had one remaining six-pack of St. Arnold's winter ale, but it isn't remaining anymore. Maybe they will get more.

Reading this thread reminds me of the Spoetzl Brewery.... they were one of my customers.
Nice drive out to Shiner, pretty cool guys back in the production rooms. One of the managers once offered me 2 cases for just verifying some technical details that he assumed were just rumors.

Wow, will have to try it. I was in Munich one year during the stark bier season. It was great beer if you like the darker style. Invented by monks to get through lent.
