The proposal originated from the Big 12
Would allow athletes to transfer without restriction if coach is fired or leaves for another job
Players leaving could not follow fired/departed coach to new job.
Otherwise, ALL sports would have one year in residency requirement (currently this only applies to 5 sports)
No sitting out a season (as currently mandated) in the event a postseason ban is handed down by the NCAA as punishment to their program.
