SabreHorn 10,000+ Posts Sponsor Aug 15, 2008 #2 Not knowing how old the kids are, I wold suggest: 1) Acme Oyster Bar or Felix', but only at non-peak times. 2) Gumbo Shop 3) Sandwich shop across from Courtyard by Marriott in the 100 block of St Charles. 4) House of Blues - I know it's a chain, but I've always had good food at that HOB. 5) Couple of places at the "bend" on the St Charles street car line are good for lunch. 6) Breakfast at the Fairmont
