new orleans this weekend

i'm making a last second weekend trip to new orleans (sat and sun). i know the city fairly well, but wanted to give you friday hornfans surfers the chance to throw out more ideas for this weekend. i get in at 11am and my first stop is johnny's in the quarter for a roast beef poboy.

any new orleans horns have any info on any special events or other things going on this weekend?

TornACL, I wish I would have seen this earlier. The responses to my my post about 2 months ago were helpful. If you get this in time, seek out Oceanaire (SP?). Very affordable and awesome oysters. Dozen for $8 Also there is the obligatory trip to Acme Oyster House. Don't forget to swing by Cafe Du Mond for the beignets...

I'm sorry I'm late too. I spent this last week in NO. Found a great restaurant in Rivertown called Brigtsen's. Little house - great food, great cocktails, great service. Had a terrific pan-seared grouper with blueberry sorbet for desert. Definitely will go back.
