New Orleans Bachelor Party

I am trying to plan a bachelor party in New Orleans in a couple of months, can any of you HF's provide some info on clubs/bars/restaurants/strip clubs that are high on your lists. Thanks in advance guys.

Hey Ocho Cinco, I'm having my bachelor party in the Big Easy also. I go to New Orleans a couple times a year and keep a google map of all my favorite places to eat. My favorite Restaurants are:

1. Cochon
2. Fleur-De-Lis (crawfish omelete)
3. Jacques-Imo's
4. Patois
5. Nola
6. La Petite Grocery
7. Dante's
8. Casamento's
9. Commander's Palace

Gotta throw a bone out to Mother's on Poydras. That place is incredible. Make sure to eat there.

If 1st time in New Orleans, go to Acme. Get oysters on the half shell and the grilled oysters for appetizers. Make sure to get the medley which includes gumbo, red beans and rice, and jumbalaya.

mother's, but the "Famous Ferdi" is what you are supposed to order.

Cuvee is one of the best meals I have had, and commander's was great as well.

DO NOT TRY TO SAVE $ BY GOING TO A GENTLEMAN'S CLUB WITH NO COVER!

It will haunt you. there is a reason the others charge money to go inside. you get what you pay for.

just got back from a business trip and a buddy who was from NO and left after Katrina but still has all his family there told me to go to Clancy's Rest. in Uptown. Said it is his favorite place in town. FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!! Fairly casual place, or dressy casual. very small place with all locals, so you'd want to make reservations for a large party. We had 13 and they put us in a little room upstairs behind the bar to ourselves. Appetizers are awesome....fried oysters with Brie, shrimp roumelade, and the grilled shrimp on bacon and cheese grits.......Damn!

I'd vote Felix's over Acme and suggest Clover Grill as a great hangover remedy greasy breakfast. Rotolo's Pizza is good for a late night snack and I really like hanging out at The Veranda for crawfish and live afternoon jazz. Really, when you get right down to it, there isn't a bad time to be had in NOLA - only good to great times. God I miss it.
