New luxury sports car rental service

Okay boys, have a few hundred dollars to throw around? You might be interested in this new rental service that just opened an Austin office. Roll like a pimp.

One of my coworkers was invited to do a test tour on Saturday to help promote the service. He did a combination of the 2 top-end tours: Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8, Lamborghini Gallardo coupe, BMW M6, Corvette Z06. So they basically spent the whole day driving through the hill country and changing between the 5 cars. He said that it did not suck.

For $ 1,500.00, I'm going to buy a pneumatic / hydraulic jackhammer & a twin tank gas powered air compressor.

Thought it was pretty cool but definitely pricey. There are definitely some rich people out there that will do it in a heartbeat. I'd rather do the thing were you get to drive the Nascar Racing Car for like $1,500 but like the other guys said, I can find better ways to spend my money.

I don't get that at all. Either you are rich enough to afford one or you aren't; renting one for a few hours is pretty pathetic unless you are terminal.

im with midtown. i might spend $50 to drive one of those cars around. its not worth anything more than the price of a keg of beer.

for $ 1,500.00, I'll bet I can go to a 'local' weekly car hang out & someone will let me drive their ~ 750 or so HP convertible hot rod - for a week or more. Guaranteed.

& I can also guarantee you I'd get more looks in a canary yellow '32 Vert than one of these 'small penis compensators'. @ Least in the Duece, most folks will assume I built it myself.
