This particular recruit speaks volumes to me as someone who knows the landscape of Texas hs Bball. Duncanville is the type of school that myself and other coaches try to model their program after. And the coaches are so influential. If GG is able to get recruits from the powerhouse and elite schools like this then she is most certainly on the right track. Also I was just looking at camp photos and I know a good athlete when I see one and this has to be the most athletic team GG has ever had here at Texas. Also look for K. Brewer to make a huge impact on this team. Big 12 new comer of the year.

I agree, Stat, I love the name! Welcome, Empress!! Utfann...you mention looking at camp photos...I saw just one or two on the Twitter site. Are these posted somewhere, I would love to see them, but doesn't look like there's a gallery on Texassports yet.

Here is an article about Empress, Moriah Jefferson and Jordon Jones winning the NIKE national championship together last month. Davenport and Jones were the leading scorers for DFW in the championship game.
