New Hire/Shuffle in Support Staff

Some background on Sharp:
"Jama is winner, pure and simple," Stetson head coach Lynn Bria said. "She really helped put Stetson on the map. She is very smart, she has a great knowledge of the game, and her work-ethic is tremendous. Her future is very bright, and I know she is going to make the Longhorns proud."

Sharp joins the Texas women's basketball staff from the University of Florida, where she has spent the past year as the women's basketball program's assistant video coordinator.

A Mooresville, Ind., native, Sharp was a two-time Atlantic Sun first team all-conference selection during her four seasons with the Hatters (2011-15). She scored 1,261 career points, currently the 13th-highest total in school history, while also topping 400 assists and 250 steals. She helped lead Stetson to an ASUN Championship and an NCAA tournament berth in 2013. In 2015, she was named a top-30 Senior CLASS Award candidate and the Stetson University Female Athlete of the Year.

Congrats to all three. I am going to miss Erin but Mark will do a fine job.

Unfortunately, the only constant is change. Many wonderful people have served at UT and have made our UTWBB experience an outstanding one. Looking forward to meeting Jama. Welcome to the 40 Acres, Jama. :hookem:

Best wishes to Erin in her new job. Since she is staying in Austin, maybe we will see her at some of the Longhorn games.

Pretty impressive playing and academic credentials. Outstanding player at Stetson and graduated cum laude and a member of the Dean's list. :hookem:

Here's the pic on the Texas coaches' roster.
