Way to go Destinee! Hooker breaks NCAA women's high jump record with a leap of 6-6 in the NCAA Championships. Glad she tied up her hair this jump!

Fantastic performance by Destinee, and the Horns. Pretty amazing that the team finished 4th with just three individual competitors, with everyone placing higher than their seeding. I think we were ranked 15th at one point this season...same thing happened last year...we were ranked 16th going into the indoor meet and also finished 4th....great job by Bev and her staff. Congrats also to Alex for finishing her career on a high note.

A&M must be devastated. Talk about your major upsets...they had more qualifiers (and more top qualifiers), than any other school, and had been ranked #1 every poll this season, something that is pretty rare. they had quite a few sub-par performances during the meet and by the time they got it together and won the 4X400, Tennessee already had the title nailed down. Oh well.
