New Gas Grill - Need Advice

Weber Silver series -- Silver B or Silver C (has a side burner for sauces, etc.).

If you can, go for natural gas instead of propane -- have a plumber run a gas hookup to your patio.

I've had one for several years now, and use it at least twice a week.

Try Home Depot/ Lowes-- as one or the other occasionally has the Silver B on sale. At a minimum HD should pre-assemble the grill for you for free.

BBQ's Galore sells Weber and their own brand. I found their brand to be better in terms of easy to clean and heat distribution with the ceramic briquettes. The three burner with a side burner was around $500. The warranty is pretty good too. I bought it a few weeks ago and am happy with the purchase.

I just so damn tired of giving all my money to Lowes and HD...

If you get a Silver B, spring for the porcelain-coated cast iron grill grates. They hold heat much better than the thin stamped stainless grates they ship the grill with. They cost about $50, and will wear out in maybe a couple of years, but they're worth it.
