New Futurama on Comedy Central.

Anybody else catch the two hour Futurama movie on comedy central sunday night? It was weird.

The set-up was nice...making fun of Fox for cancelling them much like Family Guy did. But then it got all heady and complicated...and lasted two hours. we watched it all just to see how it ended, but the writing felt flatter for sure.

Were some funny bits, but overall -- not as good as it was.

Yeah, I got this when it came out on DVD. It had some chuckles, but was a major letdown from the show. I did think the part with Al Gore and the taxi was pretty funny.

Hopefully the next movie is better.

I think the whole chop it up into for episodes hurt it big time. It got repepetitive within the movie, That and I knew who Lars was halfway through.

I want them to do real movies that are divided into four episodes, not four episodes that fit into a movie.

I like this method of distribution though, the quicker we can kick the sheeple out (Nielsen ratings type) the better.

Bender's Big Score was great. Much better than the Simpsons movie and the Family Guy direct to video. Can't wait for the next one.
