Ugh, well, I'm getting a new cellphone contract, most likely with AT&T since my wife has a blackberry for their network and that's what we both use now. We're switching our individual contracts to a family plan to (supposedly) save some money. Here's my question--
I want a new phone (i've had a razr for over 2 years. i actually really like it and wouldn't mind getting another) but i'm sure as hell not going to pay over $50 for a new phone. The AT&T store has pretty much treated me like crap, so i went online and looked at some "3rd party" cell phone activation sites. I know they're shady, but will they work or will this ruin my cell phone service and/or lead to a stolen identity? I was looking at "letstalk.com" and it looked like i could renew my service into a family plan and get myself either a new razr or a blackberry pearl for free. that would be nice.
what are the odds of this being legit?
