New Braunfels - Last Minute Help Needed

We're taking our 10 year old and his friend to Tennis Camp on Sunday, and at the last minute, decided to leave Saturday morning, spend the night in New Braunfels, and return home on Sunday.

So I need very quick advice on the following. Three boys (our 9 y/o son will be along) my wife and me in New B from about 1:00 PM on Saturday through about 3:00 PM on Sunday.

The three options I see are:

1) Tubing the Guadalupe
2) Tubing the Comal
3) Schlitterbahn

Plan my weekend. I don't have time. Thanks.

Sorry, I got nothin'.
Except be sure to have them pronounce it "New Braunsfels."

I thought it was pronounced New Braunvilles and sometimes New Brownsvilles by those a little further south....

OK, we've got a condo at the tennis ranch for tomorrow night, and a raft reserved for satruday afternoon.

The 'lupe is closed for toobing right now, so it looks like Schlitterbahn for Sunday morning.

Only one tennis ranch I know around there and that's John Newcombe's! My brother went there when he was in HS.

Anyways, my suggestion would be to tube the Guadelupe if the river levels have come down a tad and debris isn't everywhere. Call some of the rafting companies and see what it's like.

Otherwise...Schlitterbahn...although it'll be crowded as hell.

There is also T-Bar-M. The 'lupe is closed to tubing only rafting. Comal is still open for tubing. You won't go wrong eating at Pat's Place.
