reviewing your list, i can think of a few you might enjoy:

1) Control (the Ian Curtis bio-pic)

2) loudQUIETloud (the Pixies documentary)

3) 49 Up (fascinating documentary) The Link

4) Arrested Development, Season 1,2 and 3

5) The Filth and the Fury (Sex Pistols documentary)

my wife and I have been ripping thru Battlestar Galactica. I've never been a sci-fi fan, but it's really really good. combines lots of good philosophical, political, cultural, and religious issues with plenty of action. if you liked the wire, I'd be inclined to say you probably will like BSG.

Also, highly recommend Mad Men. It's gotten a lot of press lately, but it's well deserved.

Thanks for the recs. I have season 3 and 4 of the wire on hold from the library.

Looking for some good ones that the kids might enjoy as well. They liked 66 and the older one enjoyed Persepolis.
