It's like an OnDemand, except ONLY movies i want to watch.

so simple, absolutely ridiculous, and simple.

Jericho (i'm only a few episodes in) was REALLY good.

Glad this got going, i already have 30 movies in my queue all of a nice eclectic mix, so whatever drunk mood i'm in.

good job microsoft and netflix

Yeah the new Xbox Live update really took it up a notch. You can now download games straight onto your Hard Drive. So I no longer have to move Gears of War 2 and NCAA Football around anymore. Awesome.

How big is the selection of movies available for download? It can't be all of the Netflix movies, right?

I've never had Netflix...until today when I qued up an instant movie on my XBOX360 for the first time. Seems like there are alot of tv episodes too. I'm pumped.

Netflix's streaming selection is still limited but growing. Unfortunately do to Sony ******** their catalog is not available to XboxLive users but is available to normal Netflix customers

It's probably the same selection of movies they have available for streaming on their web site. Decent, but not comprehensive.

Got it setup last night. Absolutely great. I always wanted to catch up on 30 Rock, and I started Season 1 last night.

I also downloaded some stuff for the kids to watch during the day. Great selection of kids stuff, good selection of 80s and 90s stuff. More recent movies aren't there. However, there is a good enough selection to tide me over until I get old.

Caught three HD FNL shows from Season 1 last night via the Netflix/Xbox360 set up. Man that really was/is a great show. Plus it's cool watching with no commercials.

I'm a Netflix subscriber and own a 360 that is not yet connected to the net. Do you need to be an XBox Live subsciber to get this service? If I simply connect the XBox to the net can I get Netflix through their dashboard?

Incidentally, if I want the 360 to connect wirelessly to the my local Wi-fi connection do I need an MSFT special modem? Does it have something built in? I definately don't want to run a network cable from my modem in a downstairs office to my main TV in the house. What are my options?
