Nero says 'file format not supported'

Okay, got an external CD burner thanks to advice on here. Hook it up, install Nero software. Download tune. Try to drop and add to Nero so can burn to cd. Get error message "cannot be added-file format not supported". Can't find any tech support question that solves this. Help?

All of them. Apparently iTunes puts its songs in a format that is protected. Not sure why they say you can 'easily' burn their music to cd when it is protected and won't play. I don't get it.

Try using iTunes to burn your cd.

there is software available that will convert the protected music into a format that you can burn. if you have a PC then you will just need to search for it to find it, it may be free as well. i use a mac now and dont know any PC apps off the top of my head.
