Holy. Jesus. Thank you.

Struck out side in his first ML inning. Hit 100 mph three times already. Be still my beating heart... I have seen the future and it is good.

What a monster! Just wished Wash had let Nippert pitch one more inning. Then Feliz could have gotten us to the 9th.

Good god Feliz - his change=up was low 90's.

Hook'em!!!

I am so sick of CJ Wilson's ********. The A's had looked like a bunch of girls all night. I can't remember a single hitter pulling the ball from the 3rd to 7th innings. Wilson comes in and is very hittable.

I mean that lineup that Oakland put out there was pretty ******* bad. I imagine that Feliz had faced better this year in AAA. However, leave it to CJ to lose his mind and give up 4 hits in the 9th to a team that had managed only 2 in the 8 previous innings. CJ will give you just enough outings to build up some confidence in him before he lays a big ******* turd like this. He can't keep closing. Go back to Francisco and do it now.

I was in bed, listening to Eric and Dave on my iPhone. I fell asleep, feeling pretty secure with the way Feliz was pitching. I woke up around 2:30 to go to the bathroom and decided to check the scores.

And I find that that ******* CJ Wilson blew another.

This hurts bad, because you've already subtracted a half-game, and then boom! CJ cuts your heart out.

I wish the Rangers would just get rid of him. He's of no use anymore. Is there some reason O'Day can't do the job?

If I were managing, I'd not let Wilson have the chance to give up four hits. I'd pull him after the second hit.

And I'd make sure he knows he's on such a short leash.

I can forgive a reliever giving up a hit, even two. But for Wilson to basically be given carte blanche to blow yet another beautiful effort by the Rangers starters and middle relievers ... this is making me crazy.

I just don't understand the love affair with CJ Wilson.

First, Feliz looked allsome. Wow, topped 100mph on the gun 5 times. He totally outmatched every hitter.
As for the game result -- what a kick to the ovaries! God, that one hurt. Bad.

I really can't defend CJ on this one. He didn't exactly get 'lit up' or anything, but you simply can't give up a 2-0 lead to that JV squad. You just can't. Even if they were bloopers and infield hits, you just can't.

That said, our bullpen has been $ all year. It's about ******* time the offense pulls its bat out of its collective *** and pulls its ******* weight.

You can't assume the bullpen is going to shut it down every damn night. Guys are going to give up a few runs on occasion. Against this team, we should've been up at least 5 runs. No excuse for how ******* pathetic this offense has become.

****.

On paper, it was a pitiful performance by CJ, but two of the hits could have easily been outs - the ball Cust hit to 2nd that would've been a routine grounder had Arias been playing at normal depth, and then later in the inning where M.Y. was guarding the line with the "no doubles" defense where it could've been playable had he been in standard position. Oh well, that's baseball, and greatest thing of all is that we get to bounce back tonight and forget it ever happened.

Side note: Nomar looked lost up there last night. He should hang 'em up.
