Need to lower the resolution on some photos

I got my mom one of those digital photo frames, which holds 128MB, but only displays 800x480. So, I need to bring down the resolution on a bunch of ~8 mexapixel photos to fill it up for her. Looking for some freeware or something easy that's part of a standard Windows install. I tried MS Paint, which worked fine, but was time consuming.

If your just looking for a quick way to resize a bunch of photos then I would recommend downloading/installing Image Resizer from Microsoft. It allows you to right click any picture or group of pictures and instantly resize them.

Picasa from Google will also let you select an entire batch of images and export them as resized images. Free.
