I humbly request the online voting power of Hornfans. An old friend of mine, Margarito Aranda, is the owner of local interior mexican restaurant Sazon on south lamar. He's a student at the Texas Culinary Academy, and is participating in an online contest called the 'Taste of Success'. The object is to do something creative with salmon, with the reward being a culinary school scholarship.

The video had to be under 2 minutes & is more about the end product than the preparation, hence the fast forwarded prep & cooking.
The only thing that sucks is that you have to give a valid email address & confirm your vote by clicking on a link they email you. I have no idea if they share your email or not, so if you have a spam/throwaway email it'd probably be a good idea to use it.
Anyway I'd appreciate it if you voted for him, he's a great guy and an excellent chef. If you haven't tried sazon, it's definitely a favorite of ours.
