Need some advice

I just moved back to Texas and plan on coming to a Texas game this year (first one in years). Could someone please help me with a couple of questions I have. First where is a nice hotel that is close to DKR stadium you would suggest. Second, what would be some fun activities for me and a couple of my friends (in our early 30's) to do during the football weekend,

I might suggest editing your post title to something like "info on game weekend activities"... essentially, you want to give a little info & attract attention.

Capitol Complex & Visitor's Center
Western Art gallery on Lavaca (a bit S of 15th, W side)
Pedernales Falls (if it ever stops raining by then).
